Role Overview:
The Principal Test Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of Vitality's products and features. By leading test planning and execution, you will validate that these offerings are fit for purpose. You will maintain and design test automation frameworks, demonstrating expertise in multiple technical areas, particularly automation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the Software Testing Life Cycle: Ensure quality standards are consistently met through comprehensive testing processes, including test analysis, estimation, planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Testing Standards: Uphold the Group test strategy, serving as the subject matter expert and championing modern testing practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with a range of stakeholders—including project managers, UX designers, architects, developers, analysts, and product owners—to ensure alignment on business requirements and technology design.
• Skills Development: Mentor and coach test engineers, fostering team competence and personal development in alignment with the role.
• Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal results.
What You Need to Succeed:
• 7+ Years of Automation Testing experience
• Deep knowledge of automated testing frameworks
• Proven leadership skills in managing test teams and mentoring junior engineers
• Experience in defining test strategies and leading quality initiatives
• Strong communication ability for effective collaboration with stakeholders
