Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our food safety programs and investigations in the USA. Your primary mission will be to:
• Provide technical consulting services to clients, including crisis management and recall assistance; spoilage investigations; environmental monitoring program development and maintenance; standard sanitation programs and SOP development and maintenance; development of statistically-based sampling plans; program development and reviews of food safety plans; quality program development and assessments; FSMA assessments; prerequisite program reviews and development; and Intentional Adulteration program development and assessment.
• Develop technical content for marketing and training programs along with relationship building in the Food Industry to promote our expert services.
Your Profile
For this role, we require a candidate with an advanced knowledge of food microbiology or food chemistry, preferably obtained from a Ph.D. in food microbiology or chemistry or from an M.S. degree with equivalent experience.
A thorough understanding of food science is essential to apply knowledge while consulting with clients and to provide them with practical solutions to their problems. A comprehensive knowledge of food safety and quality, including HACCP, Sanitation (SSOP's), Allergens, GMP's, SOP's, Environmental Monitoring Programs, SPC, etc., is necessary to provide knowledgeable solutions to clients.
