[Job ID: 1074543] Responsibilities: • Lead the development and implementation of policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with environmental regulations across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, India, and Thailand. • Manage and enhance environmental programs and procedures to ensure effectiveness and regulatory compliance. • Monitor and analyse changes in environmental legislation within relevant regions, summarizing findings and reporting outcomes. • Collaborate with stakeholders and governmental agencies to address environmental risk management issues. • Develop and communicate protocols to ensure compliance and business continuity. • Conduct thorough risk assessments and liaise with HQ on regulatory updates. • Oversee environmental projects to evaluate applicability of product laws in new markets, coordinating with external legal counsel as required. • Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all imported/exported chemicals to ensure compliance. • Identify, develop, and deliver environmental training aligned with regulatory requirements and company objectives. • Collect, evaluate, and communicate environmental-related metrics and performance data. • Prepare regulatory reporting and submit necessary licenses and permit applications. • Participate in sustainability-focused committees and contribute to project planning and execution. • Lead incident investigations, implement containment, corrective, and preventive actions, and verify effectiveness. • Organize outreach activities and promotional programs to enhance employee awareness and corporate responsibility. • Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements: • Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering or its equivalent • 5 years’ experience in managing environmental and product compliance within an organization. • Experience in environmental protection preferred. • Familiarity with Basel, Stockholm, Rotterdam, Minamata, and Montreal Conventions is highly advantageous.
