THE ROLE
As the Head of Cloud & Infrastructure, you will lead the team to:
• Establish a clear vision and strategic direction for Cloud & Infrastructure to provide a powerful, modern, secure, robust, scalable, and intelligent technology infrastructure foundation that powers Aritzia and our innovation agenda
• Oversee data centre and cloud services, managing hybrid environments across on-prem and cloud platforms
• Provide agile and cost-effective cloud hosting services and maintain reliable storage systems, integrating AI-driven data lifecycle management
• Own resilient and high-performance networks and telecommunications across corporate, retail, and remote environments, incorporating AI-based traffic analysis and anomaly detection
• Deliver intuitive and secure modern workplace technology experiences across devices, collaboration tools, and end-user support services, enabling productivity and innovation across the organization
• Determine the strategy for AI integration across infrastructure operations, including predictive maintenance, intelligent workload orchestration, automated incident response, and continuous optimization of resource utilization
• Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Head of Cloud & Infrastructurehas:
• Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent executive-level experience in enterprise infrastructure and cloud technologies
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in cloud infrastructure, data centre operations, and enterprise technology platforms, including AI-driven systems
• Proven expertise in designing and managing hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) with a focus on scalability, security, and performance optimization
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI and machine learning into infrastructure operations, including predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and anomaly detection
• Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD pipelines for modern infrastructure delivery
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, storage architecture, and end-user computing, with experience implementing AI-enhanced monitoring and self-healing systems
• Familiarity with AI governance, model lifecycle management, and ethical considerations in deploying intelligent systems across infrastructure
• Strategic mindset to evaluate emerging technologies and align infrastructure investments with business objectives and ROI
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in the execution of large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives, including cloud migration and AI adoption
• Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and data governance practices across cloud and on-prem environments
• Strong financial acumen to manage departmental budgets, optimize spending, and assess cost-benefit of AI and infrastructure investments
• Ability to develop and execute technology roadmaps that incorporate AI capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and resilience

THE COMPENSATION The typical hiring range for this position is $200,000–$400,000 per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary…
