Our client, a New Jersey based hedge fund, is a leading provider of quantitative equity strategies for institutional clients with a prestigious global roster of corporate pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, foundations, and sub-advised funds. An experienced C# Developer with finance industry experience will help build and maintain application systems that support Back Office business operations. Responsibilities • Partner with Accounting, Compliance, and Settlement on how best to use the technology platform to optimize the business processes. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements • Back end C# design and development to incorporate new features and enhancements to Advent Geneva and workflow management applications • Work closely with the development team to incorporate additional data feeds, and design and develop visual workflows • Demonstrate a strong commitment to product quality: provide testing of the • Build scripts and utility tools to help the development team, as needed Requirements • Master’s degree required. Engineering/Computer Science preferred • 5-10+ years of in-depth back end C# and .NET programming • 4+ years of experience in the financial services industry • Expertise in buy side, back office regulatory or compliance applications, or fund accounting software • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server • Able to deliver product enhancements on time with quality in a fast-paced environment • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team • Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills Compensation is a $200K-$225K salary plus bones.
