Job Title: UI/UX Designer Description: We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to bring their expert game UI/UX skills to help build a new game within our Narrative studio. Responsibilities: • Design wireframes, flows, and interactive prototypes to define the user experience for a new mobile narrative game. • Build and maintain the UI style guide and UX documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency across the product as it evolves through development. • Create high-quality, user-friendly UI assets aligned with the game's art direction and design needs. • Provide cohesive UI design spanning the full player experience - from narrative gameplay and puzzle interactions to systems, progression, and monetization interfaces. • Collaborate closely with Game Design, Art, and Engineering to translate high-level goals into intuitive, visually compelling UI/UX solutions. • Rapidly prototype and iterate on UI/UX concepts based on team feedback, usability testing, and player insights. • Ensure interface scalability and responsiveness across a range of devices and screen resolutions. • Research market trends and competitive titles to inform innovative and genre-appropriate UI/UX design. Requirements: • 3 - 5 years of experience designing UI/UX for mobile games. • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices for mobile UX. • Proficient in creating wireframes, flows, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma. • Strong experience in UI art, including creating polished game-ready assets such as icons, buttons, menus, HUDs, and other visual elements. • Strong visual/graphic design foundation - typography, layout, composition, color theory, and information hierarchy. • Strong background in the design and implementation of UI VFX, animations, and transitions to enhance user feedback. • Proficiency with Unity, including integrating UI assets and understanding engine constraints. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams (Art, Design, Engineering). • Outstanding creativity and drive; Passion for narrative-driven or puzzle-based gameplay and crafting intuitive player experiences. • Comfortable working in an iterative, feedback-driven environment with evolving design goals.
