Overview
We seek a site-based Electrical Construction Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our project execution team. The ideal candidate will support field operations on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
• Supervise electrical installation activities, including cable tray work, conduit systems, and panel installations.
• Interpret electrical construction drawings and ensure proper implementation.
• Support daily site operations, coordinating between subcontractors and MEP interfaces.
• Prepare inspection requests and participate in quality inspections.
• Assist in preparing material requisitions and ensuring material availability.
• Track work progress and report updates to the construction manager.
• Ensure compliance with SEC and IEC/NEC codes.
• Monitor adherence to HSE standards and permit-to-work systems.
• Participate in testing and pre-commissioning activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of field experience in electrical construction.
• Familiarity with SEC specifications is an advantage.
• Understanding of fundamentals of electrical systems installation.
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code and general QA/QC requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills in English.
