We're Hiring: Senior Engineer, System Management
Join a long-term public sector initiative supporting the maintenance and operations of the FMS SETS (Support Equipment Tracking System) across its P1, P2, and O&S stages.
Job Highlights:
Contract Duration: 36 months
Salary: $5,000 – $7,500/month + AWS + Performance Bonus + Loyalty Bonus
Location: Central Singapore
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
Qualification: Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
Perform project administration and operational support for the FMS SETS system
Assist the SETS System Manager in daily operations and system management
Manage system processes including Change Requests, Service Requests, and Incident Reports
Ensure compliance with system administration policies (account, log, configuration, backup, and vulnerability management)
Support regular security vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with contractors
Provide progress updates and reports to System Manager and Operations Manager
Liaise with contractors, application, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues
Assist in project procurement processes
Who We're Looking For:
Minimum 3 years
of experience in application implementation and/or support
Strong
foundational knowledge in:
Database Technologies, Networking Technologies, Integration Technologies, Cybersecurity
Familiarity with
system monitoring tools
and performance metrics
Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills
Resourceful, independent, and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities
Experience in backend infrastructure is an advantage
