About the Role: The Assistant Product Manager is responsible of assisting the management of an assigned product group within the context of the business’s overall goals and objectives, specifically in delivering consistency across all marketing initiatives. This will be achieved by developing the designated product portfolio by coordinating the implementation of all marketing activity. Activities: • Facilitates the collection of preliminary data, and analyses information and reports data for New Product Development (NPD) projects. • Develop creative briefs on specific projects and coordinate with the agency on delivering output and critical path schedule. • Preparing package design and brief agencies. • Prepare advertising and media briefs. • Make recommendation to the Product Group Manager on consumer price points and Retail margins for assigned product. • Managing the product group new product pipeline development, individual briefs and critical path schedules. • Assist in the develop the annual Marketing Plan encompassing the following elements: situation analysis, objectives, strategies, action plans, forecasting, pricing, research studies, NPD and financial budget preparation. Requirement: The potential candidates must meet the requirements mentioned below: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field. • Good communication and written English skills. • Minimum 3 years marketing and/or brand management experience with a reputable FMCG company in the Middle East. • Deep understanding of data gathering methods, such as: Consumer Panel Analysis, Nielsen data • Deep understanding of Marketing functions such as brand/product management, research methods/tools, advanced analysis. • A proven track record in building brands and launching new products.
