Responsibilities
Research and development projects including
• Open-sourced LLM models
• Automatic evaluation methods for entertainment MT
• Multimodal MT for manga / comics
• OCR for onomatopoeia on manga / comics
• ML-based typesetting engine for manga translation
Requirements
• PhD in CS, EE, or equivalent fields
• Experience as the first author in top conferences such as ACL, NAACL, EMNLP, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, AAAI, IJCAI
• Experience in development with advanced technologies such as LLMs and diffusion models
• Experience in application development such as web services
• Conversational Japanese language skills. You’ll occasionally speak with our clients in Japanese, but we don’t expect you to be fully fluent in the language.
