HR Operations Specialist

About the Opportunity
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading enterprise organization in the Oil & Gas / Energy / Manufacturing sector to identify a detail‑driven Operations Specialist with strong recent experience in timekeeping and payroll operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys high‑volume data work, and can troubleshoot timekeeping issues with minimal escalations.
If you have hands‑on experience in Kronos/UKG/SAP Time, payroll adjustments, timesheet corrections, and supporting large workforces, this opportunity is a strong fit.
Key Responsibilities
Timekeeping Operations — 90% of Role
• Process daily timekeeping transactions, including:
• Timesheet corrections
• Accrual updates
• PTO/absence entry adjustments
• Shift differential and premium pay updates
• Monitor and maintain accuracy of high‑volume employee time & attendance data.
• Troubleshoot complex time entry issues and partner with HR, Payroll, and Operations to resolve discrepancies.
• Validate and reconcile timecard information to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Operational & HR Shared Services Support
• Support audit activities, documentation updates, and workflow improvements.
• Maintain accuracy in employee records and timekeeping audit trails.
• Respond quickly to time entry inquiries from managers and employees.
• Support additional HR operations tasks as needed in a shared services environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 1–3 years of recent hands‑on experience in:
• Timekeeping operations
• Payroll support
• HR shared services
• Or high‑volume data operations
• Experience with Kronos, UKG, ADP eTime, SAP Time, or similar time & attendance systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve issues independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume operational environment.
• Beginner to intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP not required; basic formulas needed).
• Experience supporting large organizations (10,000+ employees) strongly preferred.
• Background in Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, Construction, or Manufacturing REQUIRED per client request.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Has recent experience (within the last 1–2 years) processing timecards or performing payroll corrections.
• Has supported shift‑based, field, or plant operations.
• Has worked in an industrial environment with safety‑sensitive roles.
• Enjoys repetitive, process-driven work with high accuracy.
• Learns new systems quickly and excels in shared services workflows.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
