About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer will be a technical leader driving the architecture and delivery of next-generation logistics technology platforms. The role focuses on building scalable, resilient applications using React, Node.js, cloud services, and Generative AI to optimize global supply chain and logistics operations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and setting engineering standards are central to the position.
Responsibilities
• Architect and design core modules, microservices, and technical roadmaps
• Build and deliver high-quality web applications with React, Node.js, and cloud platforms
• Own end-to-end delivery: design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Drive DevOps, automation, observability, and performance optimization initiatives
• Integrate Generative AI to improve productivity and user experience
• Mentor and guide junior engineers through reviews and technical discussions
• Establish and enforce engineering standards for code quality, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver impactful features
• Support Agile practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Qualifications
• Essential
• 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer (React, Node.js, JavaScript)
• Strong expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB)
• Experience leading teams in Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
• Cloud monitoring, observability, and performance optimization skills
• Familiarity with AI assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
Required Skills
• Experience with Serverless, ELK Stack, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of microservices, CI/CD, TDD, and containerization
• Exposure to mobile app development (iOS/Android)
• Ability to influence architecture and enforce engineering standards
Pay range and compensation package
This is a Hong Kong based opportunity with a monthly salary budget of HKD $45,000 - 55,000 per month. Candidates with IANG Visa or TTP are encouraged to apply.
