Hiring – Data Science & Analytics Specialist

About the Role
As a member of Anthropic’s Data Science and Analytics team, you will manage and scale computing resources to support research and AI product development. You will work closely with engineers, product, and finance teams to analyze infrastructure utilization, forecast capacity, and optimize resource allocation to support safe and scalable AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze infrastructure data to identify trends, optimize performance, and reduce costs.
• Develop predictive models to forecast future capacity requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, research, product, operations, and finance teams to improve resource allocation.
• Build a data-driven culture by establishing analytics best practices and increasing data accessibility.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on analysis to influence strategy and decision-making.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years in data science, analytics, or infrastructure optimization roles.
• Strong Python, SQL, and data analysis skills with experience handling large datasets.
• Proven ability to translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with AI/ML products, large language models, or developer tools preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud-based systems, API rate limiting, and AI/ML infrastructure operations is a plus.
