As the Head of Insights, Business Intelligence and Strategy you will be a foundational leader within our new Business Intelligence department
Your main responsibility is to transform raw data into a clear, actionable narrative that drives business performance.
You will build and lead the BI function, creating the single source of truth for company metrics, empowering every team with self-service insights, and ensuring data is a core pillar of every strategic decision.
What you’ll do:
• Build and Lead the Data Insights function:
• Establish and scale a high-performing Business Intelligence team, setting the vision, best practices, and
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of BI Analysts, Data Analysts, and BI
• Foster a culture of data curiosity, accuracy, and business
Define and Drive the Data Strategy:
• Own the enterprise data warehouse and BI tooling strategy
• Design and implement a scalable data model and KPI framework that serves as the single source of truth for the
• Partner with Data Engineering to ensure data pipelines are robust, timely, and aligned with analytical
Deliver Actionable Business Insights:
• Translate complex business questions from Leadership, Operations, Product, and Marketing into clear analytical projects and
• Go beyond reporting: provide predictive insights, identify growth opportunities, and diagnose operational
• Automate and democratize data access to enable self-service analytics across the organization.
Enable Strategic Decision-Making:
• Act as a key strategic advisor to the executive team, using data to inform market expansion, product investments, and operational
• Synthesize quantitative data from BI systems with qualitative insights from the Research team to provide a 360-degree view of the business and our
• Ensure data integrity and governance, building trust in all reporting
What you’ll bring:
• Strategic Data Leader: 8+ years in BI, Data Analytics, or Data Science, with 3+ years directly building and managing high-performing
• Business-Outcomes Focused: Proven experience as a strategic partner to C-level and business leaders, with a track record of influencing decisions through
• Great communicator: Ability to distill complex data into compelling stories and clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Scale-Up Veteran: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth Experience in marketplace, logistics, or on-demand tech is a strong plus.
• Mandarin speaking skills are a must. Cantonese is a plus
Permanent role – Location: Hong Kong Start date: March/April 2026
Salary budget: from 85k to 150k/month + bonus Interview process: 3-4 rounds
