Head of Cybersecurity

Role Purpose
The Head of Cybersecurity will own and lead the organization’s cybersecurity function, ensuring the protection of digital platforms, smart systems, and critical infrastructure. This role is responsible for defining cybersecurity strategy, managing enterprise-wide cyber risk, and safeguarding business continuity and reputation across corporate and project environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement enterprise cybersecurity strategy, policies, and governance frameworks aligned with regulations and international standards (e.g., NCA, ISO 27001).
• Lead cyber risk management, including threat assessment, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation planning.
• Oversee Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, incident response, digital forensics, and threat intelligence.
• Ensure secure design and operation of IT and OT environments, including smart city platforms and digital infrastructure.
• Establish cybersecurity requirements for contractors, vendors, and third parties, ensuring compliance across the supply chain.
• Advise executive leadership on cyber risks, regulatory exposure, and impacts on business continuity and reputation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity teams and external partners.
• Drive continuous improvement through audits, penetration testing, and security maturity assessments.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including senior leadership or head-of-function roles.
• Strong background across governance, risk & compliance (GRC), security architecture, and security operations.
• Proven experience securing complex enterprise environments, ideally within infrastructure, real estate, smart city, or large-scale development contexts.
• Recognized professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
