For this role, the firm itself is developing several new information technology teams, including one major artificial intelligence team, where we're looking for someone to head up the group. The Firm currently has seven people within this AI team and this person will look after the majority of the the team if not all by a few weeks in to the process. Overall, it's a highly exciting and dynamic position whereby we're looking for someone to integrate their own ideas, materials and subject matter expertise to improve the situation of AI.
Key details:
Location: New York City HQ + highly flexible working arrangements
Salary: $185,000-$255,000 + 10%-65% bonuses
Future outlook: ideally, we're looking for a head of AI or technology who can eventually become a chief AI officer or something similar. Realistically, there will be a pathway to grow and maintain the team, but also a lot of individuality to support you to grow the team and the wider business
Key skills desired:
• Broad experience across Information Technology or software engineering or artificial intelligence or data science or similar
• Experience with data engineering or data science technologies
• Must have experience managing team members, although this can be anything from three or four upwards
• Has to be willing to travel into New York City when required. It's hard to say how often this could be, but the candidate needs to be flexible
• Willing to work with senior stakeholders who aren't too technical as well as those who are extremely technical
• Informed about all things artificial intelligence and interested in growing the team in this area
