Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Acquisition Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will lead project initiatives for cloud infrastructure network in EMEA, including metro, long haul, subsea and network colocation.
This is a high-energy role that requires the ability to build strategic relationships with vendors and industry experts, communicate progress internally and collaborate with network deployment teams.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network strategy, topology planning and cost vectors, as well as excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Proven knowledge of Long Hauls and Metro acquisition and investment within EMEA
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of regional regulatory environments
• Demonstrated command of existing subsea systems topologies, cablelandings and Top Interconnection facilities regionally

Responsibilities
As a Network Acquisition Team Lead, you will be responsible for owning and driving commercial and contractual negotiations with vendors providing wavelength, dark fiber, subsea and colocation services (aerial, terrestrial and undersea networks). You will also support our colocation efforts within the region to ensure resiliency, diversity and quality uptime of our network services portfolio.
You will work closely with internal teams to identify and define strategic initiatives to meet expansion and cost reduction needs, and partner with vendors to determine specific routes and partnerships that meet commercial, technical, and timing requirements.
