AbiInitio-Snowflake-ControlM Dev
• Candidate should have experience in AbiInitio, Snowflake and Control-M skillsets.
• Ab Initio Developer skills include technical expertise in the Ab Initio ETL toolset, SQL, and Unix/Linux Data Ingestion: Strong knowledge of data ingestion processes for onboarding new datasets.
• Database Expertise:
• Proficient in SQL.
• Expert in DB Load/Unload utilities.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, DB2, and Teradata.
• UNIX Skills: Familiarity with Unix utilities such as more, sed, awk, etc…
• Data Warehousing: Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts with strong analytical skills.
• Scheduling Tools: Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M, Maestro, Autosys etc...
• Ticketing Tools: Working knowledge of Jira and ServiceNow.
• Project Exposure:
• Experience with at least 2–3 source systems and multiple target systems.
• Daily simple data ingestion processes.
• Domain Knowledge: Background in finance, ideally with exposure to capital markets products.
• Framework Development: Experience in developing and supporting complex frameworks for multiple data ingestion patterns.
• ETL Tools: Proficiency in ETL tools such as Ab Initio, Spark/Python.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile project development lifecycle.
• Database Concepts: Strong understanding of databases and related concepts; Snowflake knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jenkins.
• Team Management: Ability to manage teams, assign tasks, build teamwork, and ensure effective communication with clients.
• Support Experience: Prior experience in production support and issue resolution is an added advantage
