About the Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst Trainee to support the Central Procurement Desk and Travel Desk at Sea Limited. This traineeship offers hands-on experience in analyzing procurement and group travel data, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven recommendations that enhance compliance and process efficiency.
You will gain exposure to real-world data analytics within procurement and group travel operations. The program aims to develop your analytical and problem-solving capabilities using large datasets and reporting tools to support business insights and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, clean, and analyze procurement and travel-related data to identify key trends and anomalies.
• Prepare data visualizations and performance dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and compliance.
• Assist in preparing analytical reports and presentations for management review.
• Support process improvement initiatives and AI automation projects through data-driven insights.

Requirements
• Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; or graduated earlier and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025
• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, etc.); familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Eager to learn about procurement operations, compliance, and data-driven process improvement.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, and willingness to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
