Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement business strategies to promote growth and profitability while adapting to evolving consumer and regulatory landscapes. • Team Development: Lead and mentor a small group of analysts, fostering talent retention and growth within Capital One. • Product Innovation: Spearhead the development and execution of new product and pricing strategies across various lending products. • Marketing Initiatives: Oversee direct-to-consumer marketing for specific products, ensuring targeted insights drive innovative customer experiences and technology integration. • Credit Risk Management: Enhance credit performance through the creation of risk models and thorough analysis of consumer credit trends. • Execution & Project Management: Directly manage and coordinate business initiatives, oversee multiple concurrent projects, and align team efforts with product strategy. • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance to improve quality and profitability. • Analytical Orientation: Apply quantitative analysis to guide decision-making and problem-solving, with a focus on rigorous marketing and credit risk management. • Leadership Integrity: Exhibit a strong business judgment and lead with accountability, innovation, and results-driven focus. • Communication Skills: Present exceptional written and oral communication abilities, with a talent for strategic influencing and negotiation. • Results Orientation: Maintain a strong commitment to achieving both short and long-term objectives in a dynamic environment. • Adaptability: Successfully thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial landscape, with consulting experience as an advantage. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering). • 2+ years of analytical experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance or Economics. • 5+ years of analytical experience. • 2+ years in financial services. • 1+ year in consulting. • 2+ years in people management. This role will be based in Chicago, IL; McLean, VA; New York, NY; or Riverwoods, IL.
