Leading the technical design of complex construction projects including commercial, educational and industrial facilities. Collaborating with clients, project managers and other design professionals to understand project requirements and develop technical design solutions that meet project goals and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developing technical design solutions for complex construction projects
• Collaborating with clients, project managers and other design professionals to understand project requirements
• Preparing and developing drawings, models, specifications, reports and other documents relating to the design
• Design coordination with all disciplines, subconsultants and any other stakeholders involved in the project
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, regulations and standards for construction projects
Mentoring less experienced staff, participating in professional development reviews and Lessons Learned sessions. Managing project schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Providing technical support and guidance to project teams and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's qualification in Architecture
• 10 years of experience working on Medium to Large Scale Projects
• RIBA/AIA Licensed Architect preferred
• Extensive experience from concept through to construction across a range of project types
