Job Description:
The SAP Cloud Architect is responsible for defining and leading Client s SAP on Cloud Green field technical deployments technology and tools best practices for running SAP S 4HANA on public Cloud AWS Azure GCP and hybrid pla tforms This candidate will be part of the Client cloud services team taking management guidance and working closely with Client s cloud services architecture security and operations team along with SAP application team BASIS team external solut ion partners and all other cross functional Client stakeholders Responsibilities include supporting SAP on Azure Green field cloud infrastructure deployments developing SAP upgrade migration approach definition system design architecture and sizi ng facilitating solution discussions and architectural best practices documentation Ex SOP WI and leading technical delivery workstreams

• Assess and define SAP S4 HANA on Azure cloud green field implementations SA P upgrade migration use cases
• Lead SAP HANA and S 4HANA infrastructure hosting strategies technical data migration and deployments for SAP systems Ex ECC BW
• Provide high level architecture system sizing and infrastructure requirements de finition for future state SAP landscapes
• Support SAP system migration readiness assessment efforts
• Evaluate SAP version and module compatibility to inform upgrade migration approach
• Recommend upgrade migration approach and options aligned to cu stomer business needs
• Support Data Volume Management processes DVM Assess data lifecycle management growth assessment and build data storage optimization architecture techniques in the context of HANA environment
• Provide expertise on SAP Moni toring Patching Backup Recovery High Availability Disaster Recovery approaches and solutions for application health lifecycle running SAP S4 HANA on Cloud
• Complies with all policies and regulations
Minimum Experience/Training Required
• Technical Degree with relevant field experience
• 3+ years' experience in professional services consulting or equivalent
• SAP HANA certification
• SAP OS/DB migration certification
• AWS / Azure cloud certification strongly preferred
• Ability to understand and articulate requirements in order to define solutions and benefits
• Excellent presentation and listening skills to communicate effectively with executive management
• Strong team member and individual worker

• Hands-on expert and unafraid to take ownership
Position Accountability/Scope
• 8+ years in a Basis Administration / System Administration role
• Expert in SAP system sizing, landscape architecture, design, and setup
• Expert in SAP upgrade/migration, especially HANA and S/4HANA using Software Update Manager (SUM)/Database Migration Option (DMO)
• Knowledgeable on multiple DB technologies especially in the context of migrations from RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, ASE) to HANA
• Able to independently manage multiple priorities and demands
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• HANA installation and troubleshooting
• Experience with system migrations from on-prem to public cloud (Azure - Preferred, AWS - Acceptable)
• Strong working knowledge of Instance Types, Storage, OS, Network, Database, Load Balancers for performance troubleshooting SAP S4/HANA on Hyperscale cloud solutions
