Field Engineer: Quality
Job Description
• Oversee and enforce quality standards on-site for all civil activities in accordance with project specifications and international standards.
• Conduct inspections, monitor contractor compliance, and ensure that all civil works meet required quality benchmarks.
• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Material Approval Requests (MARs), and Method Statements.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure proper execution of civil works, including earthworks, concrete, pavements, and drainage systems.
• Collaborate with contractors and consultants to resolve on-site issues and maintain progress without compromising quality.
• Maintain daily site reports and documentation of inspections and testing.
• Lead the preparation of handover documentation, including test results, inspection reports, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, construction, and client teams to conduct final walkthroughs and resolve punch list items.
• Ensure timely and complete submission of handover dossiers in compliance with project close-out requirements.
• Act as a key liaison between site teams, consultants, and client representatives for quality and handover-related matters.
• Participate in quality audits, technical meetings, and progress reviews.
• Ensure all work is documented and reported clearly, professionally, and in a timely manner.
