We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of **IT Security Analyst **to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.
• *Contract Duration**: 1 year
• *Responsibilities**:
Assist with incident handling, reporting focal for Cybersecurity Operations
- Reporting to Global Head of threat monitoring and response, working with stakeholders around the globe
- Bridging communication between technical operations teams and globally based business leadership
- Compiling and contextualizing investigating data of business consumption
- Guiding team to best practice for incident response
- Develop and deliver training materials specific to cybersecurity reporting
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements and efficiencies in cybersecurity operations
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge
- Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment
1. 3+ years of prior experience in Cybersecurity
2. Minimum 1 year of incident management experience
3. 2+ years of prior Business Analysis experience
- Organization reporting
- Tracking deliverables and timelines; ability to maintain momentum of the project against a background of constantly conflicting priorities
4. Previous experience with project management or delivery, preferably within the banking industry
• *Nice to Have Skills**:
- Bilingual in Spanish is a highly valued asset; Scotiabank has a global presence in Latin America
- CISSP and/or CISM certification
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau
• *Soft Skills**:
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics and new technologies
- You can demonstrate superior problem solving & decision-making skills to resolve complex work issues
- You are adept with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- You can demonstrate good interpersonal skills to build relationships with both internal and external business partners and vendors
- Efficient and thorough note taking skills
- Well established organization skills in terms of meeting deadlines and coordinating different work streams of activities
• *Education/Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, business or equivalent work experience
• *Salary**: $50.00-$75.00 per hour
