Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and manage Linux-based servers, networks, and infrastructure components
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the company's IT systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems
• Automate and streamline IT operations using scripting and automation tools
• Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute system upgrades and migrations
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on Linux-related matters
• Continuously research and recommend new technologies and best practices to improve the company's IT infrastructure
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Linux system administrator or engineer
• Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL)
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and monitoring tools
