Overview
EMCD is a leading technology company in the crypto industry, best known as the largest mining pool in Eastern Europe. We are expanding globally and building a comprehensive ecosystem of crypto services, including payment infrastructure, custody, mining solutions and enterprise-grade tools for businesses and institutions.
We are looking for an experienced FullStack QA Engineer to strengthen our quality assurance function and help ensure the stability, reliability, and scalability of our products. This role combines hands-on testing, test automation, and close collaboration with development, DevOps, and analytics teams in a fast-paced fintech and crypto environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and execution of comprehensive test plans, covering functional, integration, regression, and load testing across frontend and backend components.
• Development and maintenance of automated tests for both frontend and backend systems, with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Contribution to the creation and continuous improvement of test frameworks and automation infrastructure.
• Close collaboration with development, DevOps, and analytics teams to ensure high quality of releases and early detection of issues.
• Analysis and diagnosis of defects discovered during testing, followed by joint work with engineers to ensure proper resolution.
• Ensuring sufficient test coverage for new and existing features, as well as shaping and refining overall testing strategy.
• Integration of tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and fast feedback loops.
• Preparation of clear reports on test results, implemented test cases, and identified defects.
Requirements
• At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in application testing, including both frontend and backend systems.
• Practical knowledge of test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, together with a basic understanding of DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and hands-on experience writing and automating API tests.
• Understanding of database principles, including SQL and NoSQL systems, and the ability to validate data correctness.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies and processes, with experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within distributed teams.
• Experience testing blockchain or mining-related products is considered a strong advantage.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development or testing tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, or Claude Code is a plus.
