Salary: $143,000 - 286,000 per year
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field, or 7 years of experience in software engineering or a similar area.
• 10–15 years of frontend or web engineering experience for Principal/Distinguished Engineers.
• 7–10 years of frontend engineering experience for Staff Engineers.
• Strong expertise with contemporary frameworks such as React and TypeScript, along with extensive knowledge of large-scale frontend architecture.
• Experience in designing and scaling web platforms catering to a broad and diverse user base.
• Proven leadership in performance, accessibility, coding standards, and system decision-making.
• Familiarity with best practices for digital accessibility, including knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Develop scalable, high-performance web experiences and frontend platforms that serve millions of users.
• Design reusable components and shared UI systems to help teams achieve faster delivery and consistent user experiences.
• Make key decisions regarding frontend architecture, performance, accessibility, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with backend, UX, and product teams to transform customer and business requirements into engaging and polished interfaces.
• Maintain a high standard of engineering quality through effective testing, reliable CI/CD practices, and constructive code reviews.
• Mentor engineering team members and elevate frontend best practices across the organization.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in frontend technologies to keep our platforms forward-looking and resilient.
