Description: GameStop is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Front End Supervisor to lead our checkout experience and sales floor operations. As a global leader in gaming and collectibles, we strive to make every visit memorable for our community of gamers. In this role, you will act as a vital keyholder, overseeing the point-of-sale area and ensuring our guest service remains top-notch. You'll blend your leadership skills with your passion for the "Circle of Life" model helping guests navigate trades, pre-orders, and our Pro Rewards program. Whether you are guiding a first-time shopper or a seasoned pro, you will be the face of our storefront, managing the flow of the business while keeping the team motivated and the store looking its best. Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the U.S. • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • At least one year of experience in retail sales or a supervisory role is highly preferred. • A strong interest in and knowledge of current video games and hardware. • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and lift up to 30 pounds. • Strong proficiency in English; bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a bonus. • Capacity to work a flexible schedule, including peak times like holidays and weekends. Responsibilities: • Oversee the front-end checkout process to ensure transactions are handled quickly and accurately. • Manage store opening and closing procedures, including securing the building and managing alarms. • Coach and mentor sales associates, providing feedback on performance and delegating tasks to keep the floor running smoothly. • Drives sales by educating customers on trade-in values, pre-order programs, and loyalty memberships. • Handle administrative duties such as reconciling registers, preparing bank deposits, and managing closeout paperwork. • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor, ensuring products are easy for guests to find. • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts to minimize shrink and ensure product availability. • Process incoming shipments and outgoing "Omni-Channel" orders with high attention to detail. • Address customer concerns with professionalism and empathy to ensure a positive resolution. • Conduct bag and package checks for team members to safeguard company assets.
