In this role, you will develop and operate mission-critical services and applications that are used by customers and employees worldwide. • Location – Mt. View, CA (Hybrid – 3 days a week) Responsibilities • Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed, meeting our standards for quality software engineering • Design and ship a high volume of elegant code with foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability, and testability issues. • Maintain understanding of the latest technologies and tools and leverage them to improve existing products and services. • Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services • Assist in the onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers • Contribute towards the definition of product and technical roadmaps Requirements Basic Qualifications: • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field • 2+ years 4+ (Preferred) years of software engineering experience • Git, Frontend development, • Proven track record of developing large-scale, highly available services and systems in either Java Script and HTML • Web Development/Design • Client/Server Architectures Preferred Qualifications: • Working experience in the development as well as consumption of Web Services APIs (JSON / XML / RPC) • Python and Java experience highly preferred • Kotlin, RESTful APIs experience highly preferred • Working experience of build systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures • Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals • Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal • Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies • Experience developing mobile applications a bonus Suggested Skills: • Developer • Communication • Collaboration Compensation • $66.34 - $88.46 Hourly (W2/Non-Exempt) Req# 16612
