Tietronix Software seeks a Front-End Developer to support Tietronix Life Sciences in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities will include:
Develop new user-facing features based on UI/UX Designs
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Write unit tests and produce good quality code
Support testing and documentation
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Qualifications for this position are:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
2 – 5 years of experience in front end development
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and Bootstrap
Good understanding of Angular/AngularJS, ReactJS or VueJS
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha or Jest
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or SVN
Preferred experience with:
Backend development technologies like Spring, Struts, Hibernate, .Net, C# and Java
