Responsibilities:
• As an FRFS Cloud Specialist (AWS), you will serve as a lead technical operations expert responsible for the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based information technology solutions in both current and future states.
• In this role, you will be tasked with building, maintaining, and operationalizing infrastructure, security services, and system components in a government cloud AWS environment to deliver highly available and scalable services.
• You will join an on-call rotation and are expected to provide expertise and technical leadership on any issues that may arise.
• Our team is actively engaged in projects to migrate legacy applications to AWS, innovate in AIOps, and enforce a strong baseline for operational readiness.
• This role demands confidence, leadership qualities, professionalism, and integrity.
Qualifications :
• Subject matter expertise: Demonstrated advanced experience integrating legacy platforms and applications with AWS.
• AIOps proficiency: Strong experience with AIOps, including the ability to provide guidance, leadership, and automation solutions.
• Production monitoring: Extensive background in production monitoring using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, and CloudWatch.
• Problem-solving ability: Advanced capability to solve problems by analyzing available information, prioritizing tasks, and making timely decisions. This includes correlating data using standard business and technology tools, spotting trends, and applying sound security and risk management principles.
• Time management and prioritization: Exceptional skills in assessing necessary activities and prioritizing assignments. This requires excellent time management, prioritization skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Presentation and communication: Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations to both technical and business audiences, with an understanding of the differences in communication strategies required for each.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
