About Closure Closure helps law enforcement search evidence and solve crime. Public servants across the U.S. use Closure to expedite investigations into cold cases, homicides, gang conflicts, sexual assault, and other serious offenses. We’re live with police departments and prosecutors across the country, reducing evidence overload throughout the criminal justice system. Closure is an intentionally tight-knit team of ambitious ex-Palantir and ex-IDF engineers and operators. We operate with a high speed, high integrity, and high autonomy. Closure is backed by respected Seed investors including Y Combinator, CRV, Hawktail, Liquid2, Adverb, Commonweal, and others. Role Description: Founding Operations Lead We’re looking for a Founding Operations Lead to work directly with the founders and help build and execute the operational backbone of Closure. This is a true founding-hire role: broad in scope, high in trust, and heavy on execution, reporting to the CEO. You will own the unglamorous but critical work that keeps the company running smoothly and enables our team to move faster—customer launches, conferences, internal operations, recruiting support, and business development logistics. As Closure scales, this role will evolve alongside the company. This is not a passive or narrow ops role. We’re looking for someone who sees chaos as an opportunity to create leverage. Core Responsibilities • Conference & Events Planning • Plan and execute conferences, trade shows, and in-person trainings. • Own logistics end-to-end. • Help evaluate ROI and decide which events are worth attending. • Launch Ops • Coordinate and execute customer launches with police departments and prosecutors • Improve repeatable launch checklists, timelines, and post-launch feedback loops • Support BD operations • Internal & Office Operations • Own day-to-day office and internal operations (vendors, tooling, logistics, policies). • Source, design, and manage Closure merch for conferences, customers, and recruiting. Treat merch as a strategic asset—not swag for swag’s sake. • People operations support • Talent • Be the heartbeat of our recruiting • Improve candidate experience and time-to-hire • Support onboarding and early employee experience. About You • Mission-Driven: You’re excited to contribute to public safety and improving the effectiveness of U.S. law enforcement and prosecutors. • Owner Mentality: You take responsibility naturally, don’t wait to be asked, and feel uncomfortable when things are sloppy or unclear. • Comfort with Ambiguity: You thrive in early-stage environments where the playbook doesn’t exist yet. • High-Execution: You get things done quickly, reliably, and with attention to detail. • Strong Communicator: You can work comfortably with founders, engineers, customers, vendors, and partners. • Low-Ego, High-Standards: You’re happy to do the “unsexy” work if it moves the company forward. Prior experience in startups, operations, consulting, government, or high-intensity environments is a plus—but not required if you’re exceptional. Location • New York City (Preferred) • San Francisco, California (Rare Exception) •
