We are building iAM, the intent OS for the next internet.
Our first product is an** AI Concierge for ecommerce** that turns a sentence like:
“I need an outfit for a football game”
into a single, high-converting Stage of products and guidance.
The Stage is the product surface.
It must feel premium, calm, obvious, and conversion-driven.
We already have two highly skilled full-stack engineers (CTO included) covering backend + Shopify app infrastructure.
Now we need a founding frontend owner to make the Stage experience world-class.
This is a leadership role. Equity-first until pre-seed.
We go back into pre-seed conversations the moment the demo is live, and we move straight into pilot onboarding right after.
If you can make the Stage feel like a luxury product surface, not a widget, you’re who we’re looking for.
What you will own
Stage UI + Concierge UX (your core mission)
• Build and refine the Stage UI in React / Next.js / TypeScript / Tailwind (or equivalent).
• Own the intent → Stage flow: input, loading, transitions, reveal, iteration, and “why this” explanation.
• Ship the three Stage templates (Builder, Finder, Stack) as a clean, scalable component system.
• Implement conversion-native behaviors: add-to-cart, view product, clear CTAs, trust, and momentum.
• Ship the Shopify admin control panel: settings + proof dashboard (intents + attributed revenue).
Product UI quality bar
• Own the design system in code: components, spacing, typography, interaction patterns, empty/error states.
• Make the experience feel better than the host site (premium overlay, not a noisy widget).
• Optimize for speed and clarity: perceived latency, responsiveness, clean UI states.
Work tightly with founder + CTO
• Daily loop with founder + CTO on UX decisions and API shaping.
• You will influence what gets built by defining what must be true for the UI to feel right.
Timeline & operating mode
• Demo live in 10 days
• First pilot brands onboarded within 30 days
• High-ownership, high-velocity, builder culture.

Who you are
• 5+ years building complex frontends or full-stack products, with at least one 0→1 you can walk through.
• Strong with React / Next.js / TypeScript and comfortable owning the UI codebase.
• You have strong product taste and a high UI bar: you care about hierarchy, spacing, motion, clarity, trust.
• You don’t just implement screens. You design in code and make product decisions.
• You are comfortable with equity-first until funding and want real upside.
Not a fit if you only execute Figma files and don’t enjoy shaping the experience.

Compensation & structure
• Equity-only until pre-seed closes
• Up to 3% equity, standard 4-year vesting + 1-year cliff
• After pre-seed: market salary + equity
Fundraising note: Pre-seed conversations continue immediately after the demo is live. We’re moving with urgency and building proof through pilots and early revenue.
