A venture-backed AI infrastructure startup is assembling its founding team in New York. Their platform powers mission-critical, real-time decisions across healthcare, logistics & defense. Think multi-agent orchestration, ultra-low latency pipelines & systems where milliseconds matter.

Profile
This is not a “ML-only” role and not a “frontend-only” role.
You’re a strong fullstack engineer first
, who is comfortable owning production systems and integrating ML where it actually adds leverage.

ML / AI layer includes
• Python-based ML services
• LLM integrations (Lang Chain-style orchestration)
• RAG pipelines, data ingestion & retrieval layers
• Evaluation, monitoring & iteration of ML-backed features
They’re looking for people who
• Have shipped real projects that mattered – solo or on a team
• Can write clean, modern frontend in React and Type Script
• Can own backend services, APIs, and data flows
• Can integrate ML into production systems responsibly
• Understand trade-offs, constraints & architecture
• Don’t stall under pressure or ambiguity
• Want end-to-end ownership across design, code, infra & delivery
• Operate fast and lean without compromising on quality
• Think about systems, not just features
In this role, you’ll
• Build core product functionality across frontend and backend
• Design and implement clean APIs and service boundaries
• Work directly with product and design – no hand-offs
• Implement ML-powered features inside real production workflows
• Shape early architecture, tooling, and engineering standards
• Ship frequently, iterate based on real usage, and scale what works
• Be one of the people who defines how engineering is done
