We are looking for a data scientist to build data science and machine learning solutions for our clients’ complex and real-world problems. You will work directly with the founders, engineering team, and a set of economist advisors.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and deploy machine learning models in the economics space
• Design experiment design and analysis
• Work with the backend team to make data science insights available via internal APIs
• Collaborate with the founders to define and prioritize features on our product roadmap
• Manage and maintain databases and servers
• Maintain technical documentation for the codebase
Required Qualifications:
• Experience working with ML lifecycle from R&D to model deployment
• Experience with exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis and testing, and model development
• Experience with experimental design and analysis
• Ability to extract data with SQL queries and Python
• Excitement to work in-person with the founders in SF 5 days/week
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ph.D., M.S. or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or other quantitative fields.
• 1+ years experience (if M.S. or Ph.D), 3+ years industry experience (if Bachelor’s degree)
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Experience with causal inference models is a bonus
