An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Microsoft .Net Software Developer to join Roc's client, and contribute to the development of its suite of systems, which are central to how the company engages with its clients.
This new hire will be an application developer, responsibility areas being
• Develop business applications for use within the company or by their clients
• Provide technical enhancement for existing and new applications
The successful candidate will have 6 or more years' experience of application development. They will be well versed in structured programming, software testing and database optimisation.
The candidate will have proven ability to understand a business requirement or process, and turn it into well written, well tested, documented and maintainable code.
The successful candidate will have detailed and demonstrable experience of the following technical areas
Essential:
• .NET Core, C#
• Angular
• SQL Server/PosgressSQL
• Entity Framework /LINQ
• SOLID understanding of the practical application of agile development methods
• MVC, Web Services/ASP.NET Web API , REST API
Desirable:
• Azure DevOps, Git repository and CI/CD
• Docker/Kubernetes Linux/Micro-Services Architecture
• Kafka or similar
• MS Entra
• Docker
