The Opportunity We invite you to join our innovative Corporate Technology team as a Finance Technology Solution Architect. In this critical role, you will take the lead in designing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions tailored for our Finance Technology domain, specifically in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Actuarial functions. Your contributions will help shape the digital finance landscape, enhance data-driven decision-making, and optimize financial forecasting while integrating actuarial models. Collaborating with executive leadership, stakeholders, and project teams, you will ensure the timely delivery of key initiatives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The Team As a valued member of our Corporate Technology - Finance Technology Team, you will work on a global scale to drive innovation and excellence in various technology initiatives. This role will offer you the chance to collaborate with our leadership team and stakeholders to align efforts with organizational objectives. The Impact: • Architecture Design: Spearhead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions catered to FP&A and actuarial needs, maintaining alignment with business goals. • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with finance leaders to translate business objectives into actionable technology capabilities and architectural blueprints. • Platform Expertise: Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for FP&A tools such as Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC, Workday, and related actuarial modeling systems. • Integration Leadership: Establish integration strategies that connect actuarial models, ERP systems, BI tools, and forecasting platforms. • Data Architecture: Work with data teams to ensure the availability and governance of robust data models for financial and actuarial analysis. • Risk & Compliance: Guarantee that all solutions adhere to regulatory, actuarial, and internal audit requirements. • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay informed on emerging trends in financial analytics, machine learning applications in actuarial science, and cloud finance platforms. • Mentoring & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior architects and developers; lead technical working groups across functions. The Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. • 8+ years in technology roles, with a minimum of 5 years in solution architecture, specializing in FP&A and actuarial functions with experience in: • FP&A Platforms: Anaplan, Oracle EPM/Hyperion, SAP BPC, or Workday Adaptive. • Actuarial Software: Prophet, AXIS, MoSes, or similar. • ERP Systems: SAP, Oracle, or Workday. • Data & Integration: SQL, Python, APIs, ETL tools, or Azure/AWS/GCP. • BI/Reporting: Power BI, Tableau, or comparable tools. The Ideal Qualifications • Master’s Degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks for effective solution design and implementation. • Expertise in creating financial models for forecasting and performance analysis. • Cloud Computing: Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their applications in finance. • Integration & APIs: Familiarity with integration technologies and APIs for seamless financial operations. • Cybersecurity & Data Security: Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for protecting sensitive financial data. • Emerging Technologies in Finance: Awareness of innovations in finance, including AI/ML, blockchain, and RPA applications. • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Capacity to influence and motivate teams without direct authority. • Exemplary time management and organizational skills, adept at prioritizing multiple initiatives.
