Our client is from Machinery Manufacturing MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West - Islandwide to provide technical support service.
Job Responsibilities:
• Diagnose equipment issues independently, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
• Perform on-site repairs and servicing across mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and management on complex cases, including proposing interim or long-term solutions to customers.
• Carry out installation, commissioning, and machine handover at customer sites, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Support system upgrades, retrofitting, rebuilding activities, and software/service updates, including data protection measures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing in accordance with defined service checklists and procedures.
• Advise customers on maintenance needs, spare parts requirements, and technical improvements to enhance equipment performance.
• Prepare accurate service reports, installation documentation, and feedback to support quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide basic operator and service training to customers, and support knowledge transfer when required.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties when required.
Requirements:
• Min Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering relevant studies or equivalent.
• Min 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in a similar service or engineering role
• Willing and able to travel across Singapore to provide on-site service and technical support
• Strong working knowledge in electrical and electronic systems, software and control systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and system fault analysis would be advantageous.
