A leading digital programme is seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Engineer to join a fast-paced, cloud-native environment. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable microservices, working closely with Dev Ops and product teams to deliver high-quality backend solutions.
Key Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on Node.js experience, with strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and non-blocking I/O. Proven track record of delivering production-grade microservices using frameworks like Fastify, Express, Koa, or Hapi. Experience deploying to cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure also relevant). Strong understanding of REST, Graph
QL, OpenAPI, and API security (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, CORS, CSRF). Skilled in containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tooling (Git Hub/Git Lab, Terraform, Ansible). Solid database experience with both SQL and No
SQL (Postgre
