They are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver. • *Project Description**: Bechtel and its consortium partners are excited to begin hiring the completion teams which will finalize the monumental Riyadh Metro Project (RMP), currently estimated at 94% complete. The BACS consortium, which includes Almabani General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company, and Siemens, is responsible for the design, construction, train cars, and signaling as well as electrification and integration of the new lines to the rest of the system. Riyadh’s population of nearly 6 million is forecast to increase to 8 million by 2030. The new metro system will meet the demands of the growing population while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality. These values are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver. • *Summary of Responsibilities**: The ELV Site Engineer reports to the Construction Manager and is mainly responsible for supervising construction activities and co-ordinating subcontractors. Some of the specific activities involved, but not limited to are: • *Essential Job Duties**: - Ensure key construction enablers; engineering design/information and materials are available for planned work - Support construction work planning process through development of three week schedules and daily work lists - Co-ordinate works between different installation teams (e.g. CSA, MEP and Transit Systems) - Initiate field material requisitions - Perform material withdrawal requests from central warehouse and check material when delivered to site - Ensure quantities are reported correctly and in timely manner. - Coordinate and assist system completion of direct hire and subcontractor’s scope of work. - Develop and monitor to-go work lists for various commodities - Perform redline mark-ups for as-built documentation - Attend progress meetings, coordination meetings, quality meetings with subcontractor and other departments. • *Qualifications, Experience, Job Knowledge, and Skill set Requirements**: - A recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering - Minimum 8 years of professional experience, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree - Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction of large-scale industrial / Infrastructure projects either in direct construction or construction management role - Prior experience working on Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, Passenger Information Systems, Access Control Systems and Building Management Systems - Thorough knowledge of international standards and specification and codes as applicable, including various safety procedures and practices associated with the construction. - Knowledge and experience in the implementation of ES&H and quality management systems - Experience in KSA / Middle east / GCC is preferred. - Must be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive work environment between all parties including the client, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. - Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment, with a passion to take ownership of projects and provide sound technical leadership to craft professionals and subcontractors. • *_ Shaping tomorrow together_** • *_ Bechtel is one of the most respected global engineering, construction, and project
