Our clients' continued growth has created an exciting opportunity for a Entry Level Financial Analyst Candidate to join their finance team and help drive strategic financial decisions. This role is back in the office four days a week in Chicago Ridge, IL and is budgeted up to a base of $75,000. As a Financial Analyst, you will support financial planning and analysis activities by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. This role is ideal for a candidate early in their finance career who is looking to build strong FP&A fundamentals while partnering with cross-functional teams in the transportation industry. Financial Analyst Responsibilities: - Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecast updates across business units - Build and maintain financial models to analyze business performance and trends - Assist with monthly financial reporting and preparation of management reporting packages - Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers and explain results versus budget and forecast - Partner with operations and commercial teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making - Track KPIs and help identify opportunities for cost control and margin improvement - Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed Financial Analyst Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field - 0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related internships - Strong Excel skills required; exposure to financial modeling preferred - ERP experience (SAP or similar) is a plus but not required - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams - Interest in transportation or logistics industry preferred but not required Financial Analyst Benefits: - Competitive base salary up to $75,000 based on experience - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision - 401(k) with company match - Performance-based bonus eligibility - Professional development, mentorship, and growth opportunities - Collaborative, team-oriented work environment If you are interested in building a career in FP&A and growing within a dynamic transportation organization, we encourage you to apply today.
