Senior Solution Architect – Physical Security Systems
Role Overview
The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and delivering end-to-end physical security and cyber-physical architectures across complex, large-scale environments. The role combines deep technical authority with strategic foresight to design secure, intelligent, and future-ready infrastructures that support national-level programs.
The architect will lead the development of solution architectures, compliance matrices, integration frameworks, and differentiated value propositions supporting both delivery and bid activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution & Technology Architecture
•Design and lead complex, multi-layer architectures combining:
• Physical security systems • IoT and edge computing
• AI-powered analytics platforms
• Hybrid cloud & data platforms across critical infrastructure and smart city programs
•Define end-to-end security frameworks integrating:
• Video Management Systems (VMS)
• Access Control Systems (ACS)
• PSIM / Command-and-Control platforms
• Data analytics engines
• IT/OT and network infrastructure
•Evaluate, select, and integrate advanced technologies, including:
• AI-based video and behavioral analytics
• Digital twins and operational intelligence platforms
• Edge analytics, sensor fusion, and multi-modal data ingestion
•Ensure architectural compliance with:
• HCIS 2017
• NIST frameworks • ISO/IEC 27001
• PDPL and GDPR
2. Strategic Innovation & Thought Leadership
•Act as a technology strategist able to anticipate, interpret, and shape future trends in physical security, cyber-physical systems, and smart-city ecosystems.
•Develop technology and solution roadmaps aligned with:
• National vision and government objectives
• Enterprise digital transformation strategies
• Regulatory and compliance frameworks
•Collaborate with internal R&D teams, strategic partners, and ecosystem vendors to drive innovation and cyber-physical convergence.
3. Project Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
•Lead multi-disciplinary teams across architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, IT, and operations.
•Engage executive-level stakeholders to:
• Define and refine technical and functional requirements
• Communicate solution value, differentiation, and expected outcomes
• Align technology decisions with business strategy
•Support pre-sales and bid teams through the development of:
• High-level and detailed architectures
• Compliance and traceability matrices
• Integration strategies tailored to RFP specifications
Required Experience & Qualifications
•10–15 years of experience in security architecture, complex systems integration, or enterprise technology strategy.
•Proven success delivering multi-domain solutions across:
• Smart cities
• Airports and transportation systems
• Utilities and energy sectors
• Critical national infrastructure
•Strong architectural and hands-on exposure to:
• Physical security systems (CCTV, ACS, IDS, Perimeter technologies)
• AI and analytics platforms
• IoT ecosystems, edge computing, and cloud architectures
• Command-and-Control and PSIM platforms
•Solid understanding of:
• Network and systems architecture
• APIs, middleware, data integration standards
• IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity principles
•Strategic and visionary mindset with the ability to articulate the future of secure, connected, and intelligent infrastructure.
•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in telecommunication engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
