Electrical Systems Engineer
Hawthorne Area, CA- 100% onsite
Direct Hire
$80k- $135k year plus bonus
Will be responsible for working on HPM and energy weapons. Conducting architectural assessments, breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces, and the technologies and resources to be used in the design. Great opportunity for early in career engineers pursuing long term career opportunity in R&D product design development. Will train.
Requirements:
• Must have BS, MS, or PhD in Physics or Electrical Engineering. If B.S degree MUST have GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Entry level to 7 years of experience in systems engineering, with a track record of successfully architecting, developing, and validating complex systems
• Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain government clearances
• Experience with simulation tools such as Python, COMSOL Multiphysics, CST Microwave Studio, Ansys HFSS
Bonus Skills:
• Experience working on DoD contracts, with a strong understanding of defense acquisition processes and requirements
• Technical experience and familiarity with the directed energy & weapon systems industry and integrated systems development
• HPM Experience and Knowledge
