Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and availability.
• Implement and support LAN/WAN, VPNs, and network security solutions.
• Manage network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
• Perform regular firmware updates, patching, and hardware maintenance.
• Configure network monitoring tools and respond to alerts proactively.
• Document network configurations, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with security, systems, and support teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide technical support during outages, major incidents, and change management activities.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs).
• Experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS.
• Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, Wireshark, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
