Role Description
This is a contract, hybrid role for a DTS Integration Developer 3 – iHub, based in Toronto, Ontario with a blend of in-office and remote work. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain complex data integration solutions using the iHub platform, supporting enterprise applications and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
As a senior developer, you will take ownership of complex integrations, provide technical guidance to junior developers, collaborate with architects and business teams, and ensure enterprise-wide integration solutions are scalable, reliable, and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Development & Leadership
• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of DTS/iHub integration packages, workflows, and pipelines.
• Implement advanced ETL processes, APIs, web services, and batch integrations across multiple enterprise systems.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of integration solutions.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior DTS/iHub developers.
Collaboration & Technical Support
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and IT teams to define complex integration requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize integrations, providing technical leadership on complex issues.
• Support application upgrades, system migrations, and enterprise digital initiatives.
• Document technical designs, processes, and enterprise integration standards.
Governance, Standards & Quality
• Follow and enforce enterprise development standards, code reviews, and version control protocols.
• Monitor integration performance and implement robust error handling, logging, and reporting mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert for DTS/iHub integration solutions.
iHub-Specific Responsibilities
• Design and maintain highly complex iHub integration workflows to support enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable efficient, reliable, and scalable data flows.
• Provide input on integration architecture, technical feasibility, and best practices.
Qualifications Required
• 10 years of experience in DTS, iHub, or equivalent ETL/integration development.
• Hands-on experience with complex DTS/iHub integration packages, APIs, web services, and batch processes.
• Advanced proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and query optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms (SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud-based integration solutions (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc.).
• Knowledge of version control tools (Git, TFS) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with large-scale data migrations, high-volume integrations, and performance tuning.
• Relevant certifications in DTS, iHub, databases, or integration technologies.
