About the role
• Develop and enhance regulatory reporting solutions using Python, ensuring accurate and timely submission of data to global regulatory bodies.
• Design and implement data pipelines, validation logic and automation across complex banking systems and databases.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts and fellow engineers to understand reporting requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Deploy, maintain and improve applications within containerised and CI/CD environments (e.g., OpenShift, Jenkins, Git).
Skills and experience required
• Computer science degree or related
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience in Python in UNIX and Windows 7 environments.
• Experience in Application containerisation (e.g. Openshift).
• Knowledge in CICD.
• Experience in Linux and Shell Scripting
• Solid knowledge of SQL, ideally with DB2 and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GIT, Jira, Jenkins and BitBucket.
• Experience in financial industry preferred.
