What You Will Do: Customer Focus • Ensure guests are always in focus and strive to make them smile. • Meet and serve guests with empathy and care, listening to their needs. • Lead by example as a good ambassador for IKEA in all guest interactions. • Continuously gather guest feedback and take action to improve their experience. • Encourage team to take immediate action to meet guest needs and improve service. • Ensure team is knowledgeable about store services to assist guests effectively. Commercial Responsibilities • Contribute to the development and implementation of an IKEA Food action plan. • Secure quality and availability of products as per the range matrix. • Prepare food in line with product sheets to maintain high quality. • Train co-workers using product sheets and ensure new products are sampled. • Promote top-selling products, provide alternatives when unavailable. • Utilize commercial opportunities to grow sales and profit according to goals. People Management • Recruit team members based on IKEA values in collaboration with HR. • Ensure co-workers are trained and understand the IKEA Concept and guidelines. • Empower, support, and coach team members to enhance performance and development. • Develop successors to meet store succession planning needs. • Create a diverse and inclusive work environment in line with IKEA culture. • Maintain efficient internal communication to ensure key information is understood by all team members. Operational Excellence • Ensure operations align with IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements. • Implement and follow up on safety processes like HACCP effectively. • Promote actions contributing to sustainability such as waste management. • Strive for accurate sales forecasts to enable proper supply management. • Ensure efficient staff planning to meet business and guest needs. • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive operational area. Skills Required Skills To Be Successful: • Exceptional leadership and team management skills. • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize effectively. • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to influence others. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in using business performance tools. What Qualifies You For The Role: • Experience in a vibrant retail environment, preferably with food service exposure. • Advanced knowledge of food production and safety standards. • Proven leadership experience with a track record of team development. • Strong understanding of the IKEA Concept, including culture, vision, and values.
