We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager who will help define and execute the roadmap for the Wings for Life World Run mobile apps, website, and digital services. Reporting to the Wings for Life World Run program lead as an embedded member of the Red Bull Digital Products & Services team, you'll partner with our award-winning global teams of Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to build cutting-edge native mobile applications, websites, and services for the Wings for Life World Run.
Job Description
PRODUCT LIFECYCLE AND COLLABORATION
Champion seamless collaboration between design and engineering: act as the driving force that keeps projects moving by removing obstacles and ensuring alignment to deliver the right product efficiently and at high quality
Work closely with business stakeholders, design, engineering, and operations teams to create world-class, scalable applications and backend services.
Drive alignment among teams in the US and Austria (e.g., Owned Media, Brand, Partnerships, Operations, Legal, Advertising) and execute full-lifecycle product delivery.
Build strong cross-cultural relationships with technical and business stakeholders; use verbal and written communication to influence and align stakeholders on your product roadmap and release plan.
Prioritize user stories, defects, and enhancements to ensure that the Product team efficiently delivers the Product vision (i.e., full-lifecycle product delivery)
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for more than one digital product.
Manage external vendor contracts and negotiations (with the support of the Legal team)
Proactively identify, evangelize, and develop new Product areas (e.g., Products or verticals) in collaboration with business stakeholders.
PRODUCT STRATEGY
Develop a comprehensive and contemporary understanding of activity tracking and location-based technology (i.e., GPS) for native mobile apps and wearables.
Analyze competitors and/or similar products, articulate new technology trends in training/race performance measurement.
Study app user behavior: synthesize qualitative observations and quantitative learnings to identify jobs-to-be-done and prioritize potential solutions
COMMUNICATION
Exhibit strong project management skills and follow up with stakeholders. Staying on top of deadlines and proactively communicating changes in delivery dates or scope to management and team leads is critical!
Distill requirements, share feedback, and facilitate verbal and written discussion among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Use collaborative tools to sketch and define preliminary experiences and user journeys.
Build and deliver presentations, review Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), and drive legal contracts (with the support of legal counsel)
Manage executive stakeholders and keep them apprised of milestones, progress, and results.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in product management for digital consumer-facing products
Experience leading the agile development process, including conducting sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Ability to influence and lead high performing, cross-functional teams
Clear and concise communication style that compels to action
Track record of using data and analytics to make product decisions
Strong project management skills, exhibiting excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
Outstanding written and oral communication - this role requires daily interaction with stakeholders, including engineering, legal counsel, product management, and program management
Organized - capable of juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders at once
Experience managing native iOS or Android mobile apps or websites
Fluent in English (German is advantageous)
Additional Information
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $116,000 - $174,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
