Transportation Dispatcher Assistant
Temp to Hire
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Job Duties:
· Assist Dispatchers with follow up emails and calls
· Communicate effectively with delivery carriers for updates on shipments
· Interact with customers and updating customer websites with load status updates
· Handle the LTL shipments
· Maintain accurate records of all communications, dispatch activities, and shipment statuses.
· Monitor and update customers on the status of their deliveries.
· Utilize computer systems and software to input, track, and manage shipment information.
· Multitask effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
· Perform other administrative and clerical duties as needed to support the logistics operations.

· Professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions.
· Proficiency in computer applications and data entry.
· Excellent phone communication skills.
· Strong written communication skills via email.
· Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
· Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
· Experience in dispatching, scheduling, and tracking loads is highly desirable.
· Previous experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a plus.
