We are looking for a dynamic Director, Technology Strategy and Development to join our Corporate Research & Technology team in Hong Kong.
In this leadership role, you will guide the vision, development, and implementation of both emerging and established technology platforms across the HSH Group.
Your work will shape exceptional guest experiences and drive operational excellence through innovative digital and in‑room solutions.
You will lead the Research & Technology function with a focus on guest‑facing technologies, in‑room experiences, and forward‑looking hospitality innovations.

Key Accountabilities
Shape and lead the Group's technology strategy, ensuring the Research & Technology roadmap aligns with HSH's commercial priorities, technology objectives, and luxury brand standards.
Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of major technology initiatives, ensuring quality, consistency, and performance across software development, systems integration, and platform implementation.
Provide strategic leadership to Product and Development teams, fostering capability growth, cross‑functional collaboration, and future‑ready technical skill development.
Drive innovation in guest-facing and in‑room technologies, including smart room systems, IoT-enabled services, and next‑generation digital experiences.
Optimize budget planning and vendor management, including procurement, RFPs, cost allocation, CAPEX, and strategic partner relationships.
Ensure all solutions meet Peninsula's standards for security, privacy, reliability, and scalability while effectively managing risks, technical debt, and resource planning.

Profile Description
General Requirements
Proven expertise in enterprise technology delivery, including software development, systems integration, cloud platforms, and API‑driven architectures.
Strong understanding of hospitality technology, particularly in‑room systems, guest‑facing digital solutions, and core hotel platforms (PMS, POS, CRS, IoT).
Minimum 5 years' experience in technology development or engineering leadership, managing complex, multi‑property or multi‑market portfolios.
Strategic mindset with strong execution skills, able to balance long‑term innovation with practical delivery needs.
Collaborative, influential leader with a track record of engaging cross‑functional stakeholders across operations, corporate teams, and technology functions.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and decision‑making skills in fast‑moving, service‑driven environments.
